Chlorella vulgaris

GAMA™ - Green Agriculture Micro-Algae

The Green Engine for Better Crop Performance

GAMA™ is a natural, Chlorella vulgaris–based liquid biostimulant designed to help crops grow stronger, perform better and maintain productivity under changing environmental conditions.

Powered by the natural biological compounds of Chlorella vulgaris, GAMA brings together amino acids, organic carbon, pigments, phenolic compounds, flavonoids and naturally occurring minerals in one plant-supporting solution.

Chlorella is one of nature’s fastest-growing photosynthetic organisms. But GAMA isn’t simply about putting algae on a plant.

It is about unlocking the biological value contained within Chlorella vulgaris.

Through cell-wall disruption and extraction, the product is designed to make the valuable components of the microalgal biomass available in a form suitable for agricultural application.

This is why GAMA moves beyond the traditional idea of a “green fertilizer.”

GAMA is microalgae-powered plant biostimulation.

What is GAMA™?

GAMA™ — Green Agriculture Microalgae is a liquid biostimulant based on Chlorella vulgaris extract.

Unlike a conventional fertilizer whose primary purpose is to supply nutrients, GAMA is designed to support the plant’s natural physiological processes.

Chlorella vulgaris contains a naturally complex combination of:

  • Amino acids
  • Organic carbon
  • Chlorophyll and other pigments
  • Carotenoids
  • Phenolic compounds
  • Flavonoids
  • Minerals
  • Other naturally occurring bioactive compounds

Together, these components provide a broad biological toolkit for supporting plant growth, nutrient utilisation, photosynthesis, flowering, fruit development and resilience.

Why GAMA™?

Because plants need more than NPK.

Modern agriculture is expected to produce more from the same land while dealing with:

  • Heat and temperature stress
  • Drought and water stress
  • Salinity
  • Poor nutrient-use efficiency
  • Weak root development
  • Irregular flowering and fruit setting
  • Variable fruit size and quality
  • Soil degradation
  • Increasing production costs

Plants don’t simply need nutrients. They need the ability to use those nutrients efficiently and continue functioning when conditions become difficult.

GAMA is designed to complement crop nutrition by supporting the plant’s natural growth and stress-response processes.

What problems does GAMA™ help address?

A multi-facet green product

1. Weak root development

GAMA supports root growth and branching, helping establish a stronger root system and improving the plant’s ability to explore the soil.

2. Poor nutrient utilisation

Its natural amino acids, organic carbon and mineral constituents can support nutrient uptake and plant metabolic activity.

3. Stress-sensitive crops

GAMA’s antioxidant-rich biological profile is intended to help crops cope with heat, drought, salinity and other abiotic stresses.

4. Poor flowering and fruit setting

The technical material associates Chlorella-based biostimulation with flower initiation, fruit setting and improved flower-to-fruit conversion.

5. Inconsistent crop quality

GAMA is positioned to support improvements in fruit size, colour, taste and shelf life.

6. Declining soil biological health

The technical material also identifies potential benefits to the rhizosphere, including stimulation of beneficial soil microbes and nutrient cycling

How does GAMA™ work?

Think of GAMA as biological support for the plant, rather than simply another source of fertilizer.

How to use GAMA™?

GAMA in the field

Foliar application : 2-5 ml per litre of water

Apply as a uniform foliar spray over the crop canopy.

Drip / Fertigation / Drench application : 3-5 Ltr per acre with sufficient quantity of water

GAMA can also be incorporated into Seed-treatment programmes

Important: GAMA should complement, not replace, a balanced crop nutrition and crop-protection programme.

When should GAMA™ be used?

GAMA is designed to be useful particularly when the plant is undergoing rapid growth or stress.

Seed Germination & Early Growth :

  • Seedling vigour
  • Root establishment
  • Root elongation
  • Early plant development

Vegetative Growth :

  • Leaf development
  • Chlorophyll formation
  • Photosynthetic activity
  • Biomass accumulation
  • Nutrient uptake

Flowering :

  • Flower initiation
  • Flower development
  • Flower retention
  • Flower-to-fruit conversion

Fruit Development :

  • Fruit size
  • Colour
  • Taste
  • Quality
  • Shelf life

Stress Periods :

Particularly relevant during:

  • Heat
  • Drought
  • Salinity
  • Temperature fluctuations
  • Other abiotic stress conditions

Where can GAMA™ be used?

GAMA is designed for broad agricultural use.

It can be incorporated into programmes for:

🌾 Field Crops

Cereals, pulses and other field crops.

🥬 Vegetables

Leafy vegetables and fruiting vegetables.

🍎 Fruits

Orchards and fruit crops.

🌱 Plantation & Horticultural Crops

Crops requiring sustained vegetative growth, flowering and fruit development.

🌿 High-Value Crops

Where crop quality, colour, size, taste and shelf life have significant commercial value.

Because GAMA works as a biostimulant rather than a crop-specific pesticide, its role is to support the plant’s underlying physiology across different crop systems.

How does GAMA™ stand apart from other biostimulants?

The GAMA difference

Most biostimulants are built around one dominant biological story.

  1. Seaweed extracts.
  2. Humic substances.
  3. Amino-acid products.
  4. Protein hydrolysates.
  5. Microbial products.

GAMA starts from a different biological platform: microalgae.

Chlorella vulgaris is naturally multifunctional.

GAMA brings together several classes of naturally occurring compounds in a single ingredient platform:

AMINO ACIDS
→ Building blocks for plant metabolism

ORGANIC CARBON
→ Supports carbon availability and metabolic processes

CHLOROPHYLL & PIGMENTS
→ Associated with photosynthetic function

CAROTENOIDS & PHENOLICS
→ Antioxidant support

FLAVONOIDS
→ Naturally occurring plant-associated bioactive compounds

MINERALS
→ Nutritional contribution

That’s the GAMA difference:

=> One microalgal platform.
=> Multiple biological functions.
=> One simple crop-support solution.
